Welcome to Manor Woods Elementary! I am the principal of Manor Woods Elementary School. I am excited to share with you that I started my career in the Howard County Public School system and have over 30 years in education, including eleven years in the classroom, ten years as an assistant principal, and I'm beginning my 9th year as a principal. I am very proud to say that I work in Howard County! Most recently, I served as the principal of Dayton Oaks Elementary School. As an assistant principal, I served at Forest Ridge Elementary School, Dayton Oaks Elementary School and Pointers Run Elementary. Daily, I strive to engage in the school setting as much as possible, engaging with students and staff and using my observations and passion toward teaching to help children and staff members reach their fullest potential. I truly want students to grow and learn, in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment. It is my belief that parents, guardians, and community members are an integral part of a child's learning and development and I want encourage adults in our community to share the responsibility for our students and their drive to become outstanding citizens.
