Veterans Day Event

Thank you MWES Community for donating towards our Veterans Day Event.

 

From the USO Warrior and Family Center at Walter Reed Hospital (Bethesda):

 

Thank you so very much, we are so grateful to you and your team for the wonderful treats here at Walter Reed! We dropped off snacks to the security guards and the visitor control center and they were all beyond ecstatic!  The gate guards were so so appreciative, they often get left out and have very stressful jobs checking guests on base all while standing in the cold and rainy weather so please know they truly appreciate your thoughtfulness. I am sorry I wasn't able to get them in a picture for security reasons but I hope some of the below pictures can be posted in the newsletter. 

 

Truly thank you so much for thinking of the USO and the Military Community!! 

 

RESTAURANT NIGHT

We are heading back to EC Diner after Thanksgiving for our next restaurant night! Be on the lookout for more details shortly.

Next up is Zen Garden in January then Manny is heading to Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar for the first time in March!!!

Thank you so much for participating in the Spiritwear sale. The sale has officially closed, which means we will receive our new garments in the near future. Hooray!

5th grade Photos

Attention 5th Grade Families!

It is a tradition at MWES to put kindergarten photos of the 5th graders into the yearbook. If you would like to participate we ask that you email a picture from your child's kindergarten year to manorwoodsyearbook@gmail.com. Please include your child’s full name and teacher in the subject line.

If you are unable to find a picture from your child's kindergarten year, please feel free to send another picture of them as a baby or toddler. Please reach out to manorwoodsyearbook@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns.
