Duck Dash- NEW DATE

We have made the tough decision to postpone tomorrow’s Duck Dash until next Friday, November 10. While we are upset that the weather is not cooperating for us to hold the event tomorrow, we would rather ensure that all students are able to participate and have a great day!

A few important notes:

  • Volunteers: we recognize and apologize for this inconvenience. We hope that you are still able to join us next week, but if you are not able to do so, please remove your availability from the sign-up genius so that others can take your place.   • Fall classroom parties will still take place tomorrow! 

  • Event t-shirts will now be distributed next week

  • Keep fundraising! Individual, class, and grade prizes are still up for grabs. Fundraising closes next Friday, November 17. And, if we reach our $30,000 goal, we will also be working on an in-school event for all students this winter! 

We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait for a drier Duck Dash next week!

Upcoming PTA Meeting

Please join us for the upcoming PTA meeting Tuesday, November 14th 6:30 in the Media Center.

Want to be involved in your child’s classroom?

Volunteer to be a Room Parent! https://forms.gle/mHY7GaQrNcrPzG5u9 Room Parents assist with classroom parties, parent communication, group gifts for teachers and other assistance requested by the teacher.

Spirit Wear

Thanks so much to Jennie Hardy for taking on spirit wear this year! Everything looks great! All orders have been distributed, we do have a small amount of inventory that can be purchased at events. 

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for November 20th, 21st & 22nd. The conference sign-up window reopens soon and closes on Thursday, November 16 at 4 p.m.  Each conference will be 15 minutes.  

Monday, November 20, all conferences will be held in person only and will begin at 12:45 p.m.  Parents may only attend their scheduled conference in person.

Tuesday, November 21, and Wednesday, November 22, all conferences will be held virtually only. 

The PTA will be providing the staff with “Thanks a LATTE” themed refreshments on November 20, to provide sustenance as they work their way through meetings. A sign up genius will be circulated shortly seeking volunteers to assist.

Restaurant Nights

Mark your calendars for our next restaurant night at the Coal Fire Pizza on Monday, November 13th from 11:30AM-9:00PM.

Our school is participating in Box Tops, with a fun class competition this Fall! The class with the most Box Tops by December 18, 2023 will win a prize.

Did you know that our school can earn rewards every time you shop at Harris Teeter?!
